Projects in progress from Huddy Health

Huddy Labs is where Huddy Health shares work it is actively designing and building. The projects here are early-stage ideas with real structure behind them, not finished products, not vague intentions. We share them now because the people most likely to have useful reactions are the same ones we want thinking alongside us.

This site is a snapshot of where things stand. It will grow as the work does.

Projects

  • Project

    Mutual Aid Platform

Grassroots mutual aid networks run on goodwill and spreadsheets. When coordination breaks down, the people who needed help most are the ones who fall through.

A coordination system that handles matching, inventory, and multilingual communication in one place, accessible over SMS without requiring recipients to download an app or create an account.

    Instrument Workbench

Survey and assessment instrument development in academic research is fragmented by design, with inputs scattered across documents and emails, validated items inconsistently reused, and revision rationale that rarely survives the project.

A platform-agnostic system of record that structures the instrument development process from raw inputs through a clean item bank, with AI-assisted flagging, reuse support, and pretesting loops. It sits upstream of REDCap or Qualtrics, not as a replacement for them.

Huddy Health builds in the open at this stage because the ideas are worth engaging with before they are finished. Both projects here address real coordination problems in health-adjacent systems, and the people with the most useful reactions are usually the ones who have felt those problems directly. If something here connects to work you are doing, we want to hear about it.
