Description
General Introduction
The Huddy-supported (generalized) anxiety Compass (assessment + trackables) can help you identify, diagnose, and support care plans to manage new cases of anxiety.
The GAIA also includes common indicators or symptoms of a generalized anxiety disorder which users monitor in the form of trackables to offer additional, relevant assessment data or keep an eye on their symptoms.
Brief Description
The Generalized Anxiety Initial Assessment (GAIA) is an 11-item questionnaire developed from the DSM-V diagnostic criteria for anxiety that asks you to reflect on your experiences with different anxiety-related symptoms over the last six months.
The GAIA features four responses indicating the frequency of symptoms and range from 1 (not at all/doesn’t occur) to 4 (happens regularly/daily).
The cut-off score is 12 and suggests an elevated risk for anxiety, at which you should contact your physician or a medical professional about your next steps.
